- Assist physicians and nurses in providing high-quality patient care by preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, and collecting patient history.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians, ensuring proper documentation and patient education.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures, such as urinalysis and specimen collection, and accurately record results.
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Communicate with patients and their families in a compassionate and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding their care.

Certified Medical Assistant: Mercy Requires All Applicants For The Medical Assistant Position To Hold A Valid Certification From An Accredited Program. This Ensures That Candidates Have Received Proper Training And Are Knowledgeable In Medical Procedures And Protocols.
