Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Credential: A Cma Certification From An Accredited Organization Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met National Standards For Competency And Professionalism In The Field.
Previous Experience In A Primary Care Setting: Experience In A Primary Care Setting, Such As A Family Practice Or Internal Medicine Office, Is Highly Desirable As It Shows The Candidate's Familiarity With The Specific Duties And Responsibilities Of A Medical Assistant In This Environment.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Primary Care Medical Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Interacting With Patients On A Daily Basis.
