Responsibilities:

1. Provide exemplary customer service to patients, guests, and other members of the healthcare team.
2. Assist with the coordination of patient visits, including registering patients, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information.
3. Collect and record patient information, including vital signs, medical history, and any other pertinent information.
4. Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with patient exams, treatments, and procedures.
5. Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as instructed by the physician.
6. Educate patients on medical treatments, medications, and lifestyle modification.
7. Facilitate communication between patients and other healthcare personnel.
8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures in accordance with Mercy's standards.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and enter data into the electronic health record system.
10. Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and maintain current certification.
