The Medical Assistant will provide vital support to the healthcare professionals at Mercy by ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our medical practices.The ideal candidate will possess the required qualifications, including a Medical Assistant Certificate, CPR certification, and knowledge of medical terminology, as well as excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

1. Assist healthcare professionals with patient care by performing administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and preparing examination rooms.
2. Assist with medical procedures, such as taking vital signs, performing blood draws, and administering medications.
3. Perform patient-centered activities, such as greeting patients, answering calls, and providing general information.
4. Maintain a clean and organized medical office environment.
5. Ensure all medical supplies and equipment are properly stocked and maintained.
6. Follow clinic policies and HIPAA compliance regulations.
7. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
8. Contribute to a positive patient experience by providing exceptional customer service.
