  1. Oversee and manage all operations of the retail pharmacy department at Mercy.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive the success of the retail pharmacy, including increasing revenue and improving patient satisfaction.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of pharmacy staff, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure their success and growth.
  4. Maintain a customer-focused mindset and ensure that all staff are delivering high-quality service to patients.
  5. Manage inventory and ensure proper levels of medication and supplies are maintained at all times.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services with other areas of the healthcare facility.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in pharmacy management, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation.
  8. Oversee compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to pharmacy operations.
  9. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of the retail pharmacy and make necessary adjustments to improve performance.
  10. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on pharmacy operations and contribute to strategic planning for the department.
  11. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff.
  12. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to staff to support their professional development.
  13. Maintain a strong understanding of medication and healthcare industry trends and innovations to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  14. Serve as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior in all interactions and decision-making processes.
  15. Uphold Mercy's mission, values, and standards of behavior in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Retail Pharmacy Setting, With At Least 2 Years In A Managerial Or Supervisory Role.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field, With Current State Licensure As A Registered Pharmacist.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing A Team, Including Hiring, Training, And Performance Evaluations.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Inventory Management, Medication Dispensing, And Adherence To Regulatory Guidelines.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Stakeholders.
