- Oversee the daily operations of the food services department, including meal preparation, service, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of patients, while also considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations and standards.
- Manage and train a team of food service staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate meal service for patients with special dietary needs.
- Monitor and track food service budgets and expenses, making adjustments as needed to ensure financial targets are met.
- Maintain relationships with food suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and enhance the overall dining experience for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in food service management, and make recommendations for improvement to senior leadership.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among food service staff and other departments.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Food Service Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Or Related Field.
Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage A Team Of Diverse Individuals.
Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations And Ability To Maintain A Safe And Sanitary Environment.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Departments And Stakeholders.
