- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to pediatric patients in the clinic setting.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer and monitor medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Perform routine assessments and document patient progress and changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Adhere to all safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication regimens, and preventative care.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information in electronic medical records.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain current knowledge of pediatric nursing best practices and evidence-based care.
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patients and their families during difficult or stressful situations.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the clinic manager or physician.
Active Lpn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Current And Valid Lpn License To Practice In The State Of Employment.
Pediatric Experience: Previous Experience Working With Pediatric Patients Is Required For This Role. This Could Include Experience In A Pediatric Clinic, Hospital, Or Other Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Pediatric Care: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Pediatric Care, Including Developmental Milestones, Common Illnesses, And Procedures Related To Pediatric Patients.
Cpr Certification: A Current Cpr Certification Is Required For This Position, As The Lpn May Be Responsible For Administering Emergency Care To Pediatric Patients.
Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For An Lpn Working In A Pediatric Clinic. The Candidate Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Both Young Patients And Their Parents Or Guardians.
