- Adhere to established protocols and procedures to maintain quality control and ensure accurate and timely results.
- Utilize advanced laboratory equipment and techniques to perform specialized staining and immunohistochemistry procedures.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all procedures, results, and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic results.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory supplies and equipment to ensure proper functionality and availability for testing.
- Comply with all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on new techniques and procedures in the field of histotechnology.
