
Health Information Technician
Mercy is seeking an experienced and motivated Health Information Technician to join our healthcare team. You will play an important role in managing medical records and patient information while providing top-notch customer service. Responsibilities:
- Accurately organize and maintain medical records and patient information.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding the management of medical records.
- Utilize electronic medical record systems to input and update patient data.
- Respond to inquiries from medical staff, patients, and other healthcare providers in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor patient information system for accuracy and completeness.
- Streamline processes to improve the efficiency of patient data management.
- Provide technical support services for medical staff and other users.
- Train staff on the proper use of health information systems and processes.
- Track and report any errors or discrepancies in patient data.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
