Job Qualifications

  • Board Certification In Family Medicine: The Ideal Candidate For This Position At Mercy Should Have Completed A Residency In Family Medicine And Be Board Certified By The American Board Of Family Medicine. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Met Rigorous Standards Of Knowledge, Skill, And Experience In The Field Of Family Medicine.

  • Experience In Obstetrics And C-Sections: Mercy Is Seeking A Candidate Who Has Experience In Managing Pregnancy And Childbirth, As Well As Performing C-Sections. This Includes Proficiency In Prenatal Care, Labor And Delivery, Postpartum Care, And Surgical Skills For C-Sections.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Family Medicine Provider, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Build Relationships With Patients, Their Families, And The Healthcare Team. This Is Especially Important In The Sensitive And Emotional Field Of Obstetrics.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Medicine: Mercy Values Evidence-Based Medicine And Seeks A Candidate Who Is Knowledgeable About The Latest Research And Guidelines In The Field Of Family Medicine With Obstetrics And C-Sections. This Includes Staying Up-To-Date On Best Practices And Incorporating Them Into Patient Care.
