As an Events Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and executing a wide range of events to support our mission and engage our community.   1. Plan and coordinate a variety of events to support the mission and goals of Mercy.
  2. Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and ensure alignment with the organization's mission.
  3. Develop event concepts, themes, and timelines that align with Mercy's brand and values.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
  5. Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and other event partners to ensure cost-effective and high-quality event services.
  6. Create and manage event budgets, timelines, and project plans.
  7. Communicate event details and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Coordinate event logistics, including but not limited to, venue setup, audio/visual needs, catering, and guest accommodations.
  9. Manage event registration and RSVP process, including tracking and reporting attendance.
  10. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
  11. Conduct post-event evaluations to analyze event success and identify areas for improvement.
  12. Maintain event records and budgets, and provide regular reports to management.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event planning and incorporate them into event strategies.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate care and service to all event attendees.
  15. Uphold the organization's values and mission in all event-related activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Event Management, Hospitality, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Event Planning And Coordination.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills With The Ability To Multitask And Meet Tight Deadlines.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Event Technology And Software, Such As Event Registration Systems And Virtual Event Platforms.
