- Plan and organize events: The primary responsibility of the Events Coordinator will be to plan and execute various events for Mercy. This includes coordinating logistics, developing timelines, and managing all aspects of event planning.
- Collaborate with departments and vendors: The Events Coordinator will work closely with different departments within the organization to understand their event needs and ensure that events align with the overall vision and mission of Mercy. They will also be responsible for sourcing and managing relationships with vendors and community partners to ensure successful events.
- Manage event budgets: The Events Coordinator will be responsible for creating and managing event budgets, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and seeking cost-effective solutions when necessary.
- Oversee event logistics: From venue selection to event setup and breakdown, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all event logistics. This includes coordinating with vendors, managing event timelines, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Create event marketing and communication materials: The Events Coordinator will work closely with the marketing team to create event-specific marketing materials, including invitations, social media posts, and other promotional materials to attract attendees.

Bachelor's Degree In Event Planning, Hospitality Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Event Coordination, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Non-Profit Setting.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Events Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Vendors, Staff, And Volunteers.
Knowledge Of Event Planning Software And Tools, As Well As Experience With Budgeting And Contract Negotiation.
