  1. Plan and coordinate all events hosted by Mercy, including but not limited to fundraisers, community outreach events, and internal staff events.
  2. Develop event concepts and themes that align with Mercy's mission and goals.
  3. Create and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are within budget and properly tracked.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly.
  5. Manage event logistics such as venue selection, catering, entertainment, and transportation.
  6. Create and distribute event marketing materials to promote and attract attendees.
  7. Act as the main point of contact for event inquiries and manage all communication with event attendees and vendors.
  8. Coordinate event set-up and breakdown, including overseeing the work of event staff and volunteers.
  9. Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are obtained for each event.
  10. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for event planning and execution.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with event sponsors and partners.
  13. Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events in a timely and efficient manner.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve event processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Uphold Mercy's values and mission throughout all events.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Event Management, Hospitality, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Event Coordination, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Non-Profit Setting.

  • Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Multi-Task And Prioritize Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Teams And Vendors.

  • Knowledge Of Event Planning Software And Budget Management Experience.
