Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Mercy is searching for an experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) who loves helping others and is passionate about providing quality care. We are seeking an individual with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to medical emergencies and treat patients in a quick and professional manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and the experience to make quick decisions in life-threatening situations.In this role, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, assessing patients, and providing life-saving treatments. You will need to be organized and able to communicate effectively with both patients and their families. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

1. Respond to emergency medical calls, assess patients, and provide life-saving treatments.
2. Remain calm and organized in life-threatening situations and make quick decisions.
3. Administer treatments and medications to patients.
4. Communicate effectively with patients and their families while providing care.
5. Maintain patient records and complete paperwork accurately.
6. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
7. Participate in continuing education courses and stay up to date on best practices.
8. Follow safety protocols and provide quality care in accordance with organizational standards.
