Job Description

At Mercy, we are looking for an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team! We need a passionate, energetic, and reliable individual who will be responsible for responding to medical emergencies and providing life-saving care to those in need. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and be comfortable in high-stress situations.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience as an EMT and must hold a valid EMT certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Additionally, we require the candidate to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be a quick thinker, and have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, this is the perfect position for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving care to those in need.
  2. Work under pressure and remain calm in high-stress situations.
  3. Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as an EMT and hold a valid EMT certification from the NREMT.
  4. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a quick thinker.
  5. Possess a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  6. Follow the protocols and guidelines of Mercy as an EMT.
  7. Provide patient care according to the standards of care established by Mercy.
  8. Maintain patient records and other documentation.
  9. Ensure all necessary medical equipment is prepared and available for use.
  10. Maintain communication with other health care providers and personnel to ensure proper patient care.
