
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
At Mercy, we are looking for an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team! We need a passionate, energetic, and reliable individual who will be responsible for responding to medical emergencies and providing life-saving care to those in need. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and be comfortable in high-stress situations.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience as an EMT and must hold a valid EMT certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Additionally, we require the candidate to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be a quick thinker, and have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, this is the perfect position for you!
Responsibilities:
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving care to those in need.
- Work under pressure and remain calm in high-stress situations.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as an EMT and hold a valid EMT certification from the NREMT.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a quick thinker.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Follow the protocols and guidelines of Mercy as an EMT.
- Provide patient care according to the standards of care established by Mercy.
- Maintain patient records and other documentation.
- Ensure all necessary medical equipment is prepared and available for use.
- Maintain communication with other health care providers and personnel to ensure proper patient care.
