Job Description

Mercy is seeking a motivated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have experience in emergency medical services and the ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. We are looking for a reliable and dedicated individual who is committed to providing outstanding service to our patients.The successful candidate must have a valid state EMT certification, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. In addition, the ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in life-threatening situations. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about patient care and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide emergency medical services to patients in need.
  2. Respond to emergency medical calls in a timely manner.
  3. Assess patient conditions quickly and accurately in order to provide the appropriate care and treatment.
  4. Administer appropriate medical treatments and medications as needed.
  5. Monitor patient vital signs and make adjustments as needed.
  6. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.
  7. Maintain detailed records of patient treatment and care.
  8. Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and patients' families.
  9. Follow safety protocols and procedures in the event of a medical emergency.
  10. Remain up-to-date on the latest developments in emergency medical care and treatments.
