  1. Perform routine and preventative electrical maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of all electrical systems and equipment within Mercy facilities.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and make necessary repairs in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to facility operations.
  3. Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting, electrical fixtures, and other electrical components according to safety codes and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the Facilities Maintenance team to coordinate and prioritize electrical projects and tasks.
  5. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including documentation of materials used and hours worked.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of electrical supplies and equipment to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and patients.
  8. Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for upgrades or modifications to existing electrical systems to increase efficiency and safety.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical technology to continually improve skills and knowledge.
  10. Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude when interacting with staff, patients, and visitors while on the job.
