  1. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  2. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems as needed.
  3. Install new electrical systems and equipment according to safety and building codes.
  4. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
  5. Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering staff to address facility-wide electrical needs.
  6. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  7. Monitor and maintain inventory of electrical supplies and equipment.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with electrical systems.
  9. Respond to emergency calls and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner.
  10. Communicate effectively with other departments and staff regarding electrical needs and updates.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical systems.
  12. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  13. Train and mentor junior electricians as needed.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  15. Represent Mercy in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Typically Required For An Electrician Position At Mercy. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Math, Science, And Technical Skills Required For The Job.
