Job Description

If so, Mercy is seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our dynamic team.As an Echo Technologist at Mercy, you will play a vital role in performing and analyzing echocardiograms to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various cardiac conditions. Your expertise and dedication will directly impact the well-being of our patients, and your contributions will be valued and recognized within our organization.To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field, as well as certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).   1. Perform and analyze echocardiograms to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various cardiac conditions.

  11. Troubleshoot technical issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  12. Adhere to all quality control standards and protocols.
  13. Assist in training and mentoring new technologists.
  14. Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
  15. Attend educational seminars and conferences to stay informed on industry developments.
  16. Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Echocardiograms In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Hemodynamics

  • Experience With Various Echocardiogram Equipment And Software, Including 3D And Strain Imaging Techniques.
