As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in detecting and diagnosing heart conditions using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques. We are seeking a highly skilled and personable individual with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and a minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography.   1. Operate and maintain advanced diagnostic imaging equipment to perform echocardiograms and other related procedures.
  2. Utilize technical skills and knowledge to obtain high-quality images and accurately diagnose heart conditions.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses for patients.
  4. Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times while performing procedures.
  5. Stay up-to-date with advancements in diagnostic imaging technology and techniques.
  6. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all procedures performed.
  7. Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  8. Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  10. Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency in procedures.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Attend and participate in team meetings and educational sessions.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  15. Represent Mercy and the department of diagnostic imaging in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Certified As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) By The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Echo Technologist In A Hospital Or Medical Setting

  • Proficient In Operating And Maintaining Echocardiography Equipment And Software

  • Strong Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology, As Well As The Ability To Accurately Interpret And Analyze Echocardiograms
