- Oversee all nursing operations for the Women, Children, and Infants department, including staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve and maintain the highest standard of care for female, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Lead and mentor a team of nurses and staff, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure the delivery of compassionate and effective care.
- Collaborate with other department leaders and healthcare providers to develop and implement interdisciplinary care plans for female, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze departmental data, including patient outcomes, satisfaction, and financial performance, to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate interventions.
- Serve as a liaison between the Women, Children, and Infants department and other departments within the organization, as well as external stakeholders, to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to women's and children's health, and incorporate them into the department's operations.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues and ensuring their needs are met.
- Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior, promoting a culture of integrity and excellence within the department.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote the Women, Children, and Infants department's services and achievements to the community.
- Participate in fundraising and community outreach efforts to support the department's initiatives and raise awareness of women's and children's health issues.
- Represent the organization at conferences, seminars, and other events related to women's and children's health, networking with other professionals and promoting the organization's mission and values.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
Current Rn License In Good Standing
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Nursing Leadership, Preferably In Women's And Children's Health
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Accreditation Standards Related To Maternity, Pediatric, And Neonatal Care
Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team
