  1. Provide leadership and direction to the emergency department team, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the department.
  3. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the emergency department, including patient flow, staff assignments, and resource utilization.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate and improve patient care.
  5. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  6. Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance patient care and department efficiency.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families to ensure clear and timely communication of information and treatment plans.
  8. Serve as a role model for the highest standards of professionalism, compassion, and ethical behavior.
  9. Participate in the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of emergency department staff.
  10. Stay current with industry developments and best practices in emergency medicine and share knowledge with the team.
  11. Assist in the development and implementation of emergency department policies, protocols, and procedures.
  12. Act as a liaison between the emergency department and other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  13. Collaborate with hospital leadership to set and achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  14. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment for staff and patients.
  15. Participate in on-call and after-hours activities as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Registered Nurse In An Emergency Department Setting.

  • Current Certification As An Emergency Nurse (Cen) Or Equivalent.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing A Team In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Decision-Making Abilities, With A Focus On Patient-Centered Care And Quality Improvement Initiatives.
