Job Description

At Mercy, we are looking for a compassionate and experienced Clinical Social Worker to join our team and provide services to our patients and families. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals, families, and groups with mental health and emotional concerns. In this role, you will use your expertise to provide psychotherapy and coordinate care with medical staff.We are looking for a candidate who has a Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field and is licensed in the state of practice. Additionally, we are seeking a candidate with at least two years of experience in providing clinical social work services. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.At Mercy, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in our patients’ lives. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat individuals, families, and groups with mental health and emotional concerns

• Provide psychotherapy and coordinate care with medical staff

• Maintain patient records and provide assessments

• Develop treatment plans and provide counseling services

• Monitor and assess progress of patients

• Utilize evidence-based interventions and techniques

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure best practices

• Adhere to ethical and legal standards set by state and federal regulations

• Remain up-to-date on new developments and best practices in the field
