  1. Provide exceptional care and support to critically ill patients through the application of extensive knowledge and experience in critical care pharmacy.
  2. Utilize clinical expertise to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement medication treatment plans.
  4. Conduct medication reviews and identify potential drug therapy problems.
  5. Monitor medication usage and provide drug information to healthcare providers.
  6. Serve as a resource and mentor to other pharmacists and pharmacy staff.
  7. Stay updated on current trends and developments in critical care pharmacy practice.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and medication management processes.
  9. Maintain accurate and complete patient records and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication management.
  11. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to critical care pharmacy services.
  12. Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
  13. Participate in research activities and present findings at conferences and meetings.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development by seeking out continuing education opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Pharmacy Program

  • Board Certification In Pharmacotherapy (Bcps) Or Critical Care (Bcccp)

  • Completion Of A Clinical Pharmacy Residency Or Fellowship Program, Preferably In Critical Care

  • Current And Unrestricted State Pharmacy License

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Clinical Pharmacy Specialist In A Critical Care Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Environment
