  1. Oversee and coordinate all clinical pharmacy operations within the organization.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize medication therapies and improve patient outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective use of medications for patients.
  4. Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff, including training and mentoring.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceuticals and healthcare trends to inform decision making.
  6. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of medications.
  8. Serve as a liaison between the pharmacy department and other healthcare departments to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  10. Keep accurate records and reports of pharmacy activities, including medication usage and patient outcomes.
  11. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent medication errors and adverse drug events.
  12. Act as a resource for patients and healthcare providers, providing education and counseling on medication therapy and management.
  13. Stay updated on new developments and advancements in the pharmacy industry, and make recommendations for implementation as needed.
  14. Represent the pharmacy department in meetings and committees, advocating for patient-centered care and promoting best practices.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the pharmacy team.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution

  • Current And Active State Pharmacy License

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Pharmacy Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting

  • Board Certification In Pharmacotherapy (Bcps) Or Other Relevant Specialty Certification

  • Strong Clinical Knowledge And Expertise In Areas Such As Medication Therapy Management, Drug Interactions, And Patient Counseling
