  1. Provide compassionate and evidence-based care to mothers and babies.
  2. Utilize expertise and experience in midwifery to support and enhance patient care.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  4. Assess and monitor the health and well-being of pregnant women and their babies throughout the pregnancy, labor, and postpartum periods.
  5. Conduct physical examinations and perform necessary medical procedures, such as prenatal tests and ultrasounds.
  6. Educate and support mothers and families on prenatal care, childbirth, and postpartum care.
  7. Provide emotional support and guidance to mothers during labor and delivery.
  8. Monitor and assist with the progress of labor and delivery, and provide care for the newborn immediately after birth.
  9. Identify and manage any complications that may arise during pregnancy, labor, or postpartum.
  10. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care.
  11. Stay up-to-date with current research and developments in midwifery and women's health.
  12. Foster a positive and supportive work environment.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  14. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Midwifery From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification And Licensure As A Certified Nurse Midwife (Cnm) By The American Midwifery Certification Board (Amcb).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Cnm In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices And Protocols In Women's Health And Obstetrics.

  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Multidisciplinary Team.
