  1. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families as they undergo cancer treatment.
  2. Administer medication and perform medical procedures as directed by the physician.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the physician.
  4. Educate patients and their families on cancer treatments, side effects, and self-care techniques.
  5. Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, following all HIPAA regulations.
  7. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  8. Ensure patient safety by following infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  9. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families during difficult times.
  10. Stay up-to-date on current oncology practices and procedures through continuing education and training opportunities.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  12. Foster a positive and supportive work environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and maintaining a professional attitude.
  13. Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are considered in their care.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  15. Embrace a patient-centered approach, always putting the needs and well-being of patients first.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lpn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid License As A Licensed Practical Nurse In The State Of Employment.

  • Experience In Oncology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working In An Oncology Setting, Preferably In A Clinic Or Hospital. This Will Ensure That They Have A Good Understanding Of The Unique Needs And Challenges Of Cancer Patients And Their Families.

  • Knowledge Of Chemotherapy: The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Chemotherapy Procedures, Including Administration, Monitoring, And Managing Side Effects. This Will Be Essential In Providing Quality Care To Oncology Patients.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As An Lpn In An Oncology Clinic, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential.

  • Compassionate And Empathetic: Working In Oncology Requires A High Level Of Compassion And Empathy Towards Patients And Their Families. The Ideal Candidate Should Demonstrate These Qualities And Be Able To Provide Emotional Support To Patients During Their Treatment.
