- Oversee and lead the nursing department to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to the community.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve and maintain the quality of patient care.
- Collaborate with other department heads to promote a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with staff, patients, and community partners to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
- Develop and monitor department budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals.
- Stay updated on current healthcare regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and promote continuous improvement.
- Hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff to maintain a competent and motivated team.
- Create and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and ensure patient safety.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development for nursing staff.
- Act as a liaison between the nursing department and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Serve as a role model for ethical and compassionate leadership, promoting the organization's mission and values.
- Handle any conflicts or issues within the nursing department in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in community outreach and engagement activities to promote the organization and its services.
- Analyze data and use it to make informed decisions to improve departmental operations and patient care.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for nursing staff and take necessary actions to address any performance issues.
A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Nursing Leadership, With At Least 5 Years In A Senior Executive Role.
A Master's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field, With A Preference For Candidates With A Doctor Of Nursing Practice (Dnp) Or Doctor Of Philosophy (Phd) In Nursing.
Demonstrated Success In Strategic Planning, Budget Management, And Resource Allocation In A Healthcare Setting.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Healthcare Regulations And Compliance, With A Strong Understanding Of Accreditation And Quality Improvement Processes.
Proven Ability To Foster A Culture Of Collaboration, Mentorship, And Professional Development Among Nursing Staff.
