- Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, their families, and staff members.
- Conduct spiritual assessments and develop care plans based on individual needs.
- Offer prayer, counseling, and other forms of spiritual guidance to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Assist patients in connecting with their faith communities and support systems.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for patients of all faiths and beliefs.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and their families.
- Participate in educational and training opportunities to enhance spiritual care skills.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and clergy.
- Document all interactions and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to ethical standards and codes of conduct in providing spiritual care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to promote understanding and support.
- Collaborate with community organizations and resources to meet the spiritual needs of patients.
- Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and other relevant meetings as required.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Evenings And Weekends, As Needed For Prn Position
Bachelor's Degree In Theology, Pastoral Studies, Or Related Field
Ordination Or Endorsement From Recognized Religious Organization
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Pastoral Or Spiritual Care, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting
