- Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Provide hands-on therapy and support to patients in accordance with established protocols and treatment plans.
- Observe and document patients' progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to provide education and support.
- Continuously monitor and assess patients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans and patient care strategies.
- Stay current on industry developments, new techniques, and treatments to continuously improve patient care.
- Provide guidance and support to patients and their families, helping them to understand and adapt to their conditions.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.
Valid Certification As A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) From Nbcot.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Cota In A Clinical Or Healthcare Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams.
Knowledge Of Current Best Practices In Occupational Therapy, Including Evidence-Based Treatment Techniques And Modalities.
