Job Description

Mercy is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in providing compassionate care to our patients. Our ideal candidate is a dedicated and knowledgeable individual with a passion for helping others. Our CNAs work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care.The successful candidate must have a valid CNA certification, a strong work ethic, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a health care setting, as well as the ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment. Above all, the successful candidate must have a genuine desire to care for our patients and help them achieve their health care goals.

Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

  1. Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to all of Mercy’s patients.
  2. Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing medical care and treatments.
  3. Monitor patients’ progress and report any changes to the nursing team.
  4. Follow all safety protocols and procedures, and adhere to Mercy’s policies and procedures.
  5. Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
  6. Provide emotional support to patients and families.
  7. Help maintain a clean and safe environment in the patient care area.
  8. Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  9. Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team.
  10. Remain up to date on all current practices and procedures in the healthcare industry.
