Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Mercy is looking for a compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients. Our ideal candidate will be reliable, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing quality care.The successful candidate must possess a current certification as a CNA in the state of California and have at least one year of experience in a medical setting. They must be able to complete tasks quickly and efficiently, work well with others, and demonstrate a positive attitude. The CNA will provide direct patient care, as well as assist with other duties related to patient care. This position requires excellent multitasking and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about patient care and has a desire to provide the best possible experience for our patients. Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care, as well as assist with other duties related to patient care • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in order to ensure the safety of patients and staff • Follow doctor’s orders and properly document patient information • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the patient care area • Provide support to patients and family members during times of distress • Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting • Assist with the moving and repositioning of patients • Perform light housekeeping duties as needed • Participate in patient education and discharge planning • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
