Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

At Mercy, we are searching for an experienced and passionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. We are looking for a CNA who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and is eager to grow in their profession. The ideal candidate has a genuine commitment to providing compassionate care and has a strong work ethic.The successful CNA candidate should possess the following qualifications: an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of practice, current CPR certification, and at least one year of experience in a medical setting. Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality patient care in a medical setting.
2. Assist in daily patient care activities, such as bathing, toileting, and dressing.
3. Assist with basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and recording patient information.
4. Assist nurses in providing medical treatment and administering medications.
5. Monitor patients for signs of discomfort or distress and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
6. Respond to patient call lights and requests in a timely manner.
7. Ensure the patient environment is clean, safe, and comfortable.
8. Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families.
9. Maintain patient confidentiality.
10. Follow safety protocols as established by the facility.
