
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
At Mercy, we are searching for an experienced and passionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. We are looking for a CNA who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and is eager to grow in their profession. The ideal candidate has a genuine commitment to providing compassionate care and has a strong work ethic.The successful CNA candidate should possess the following qualifications: an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of practice, current CPR certification, and at least one year of experience in a medical setting. Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a medical setting.
- Assist in daily patient care activities, such as bathing, toileting, and dressing.
- Assist with basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and recording patient information.
- Assist nurses in providing medical treatment and administering medications.
- Monitor patients for signs of discomfort or distress and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
- Respond to patient call lights and requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure the patient environment is clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Follow safety protocols as established by the facility.
