
Behavioral Health Associate
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Associate to join our team at Mercy. As a Behavioral Health Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. - Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
- Maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards clients.
- Assist clients in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and document clients' progress and behavior.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques when necessary.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the field of behavioral health.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of mental health and substance abuse treatment.
- Provide education and resources to clients and their families.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients.
- Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere within the team.
- Attend trainings and meetings to further professional development.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Display empathy, patience, and understanding towards clients.
- Serve as an advocate for clients and their needs.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new programs and services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Behavioral Health Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices In The Field Of Behavioral Health.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients And Their Families.
Ability To Maintain Confidentiality And Adhere To Ethical Standards In All Aspects Of Job Duties.
