- Oversee and lead the medical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality and patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive and efficient care delivery system.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of medical staff and provide guidance and support as needed.

- Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans for the facility.

- Participate in community outreach programs and initiatives to promote the facility and its services.
- Represent the facility in a professional and positive manner at all times, both internally and externally.
- Continuously monitor and improve the overall quality of care provided by the facility.
- Participate in budget planning and management for the medical department.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including patients, families, staff, and leadership.
- Act as a liaison between medical staff and other departments to promote effective communication and collaboration.
Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution: The Associate Medical Director At Mercy Gohealth Should Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From A Recognized And Accredited Institution.
Active Medical License In State Of Practice: The Candidate Should Hold A Current And Active Medical License In The State Where Mercy Gohealth Operates. This Is Essential For Practicing Medicine And Overseeing Clinical Operations.
Board Certification In A Relevant Specialty: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In A Relevant Specialty Such As Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Or Pediatrics. This Ensures A Strong Foundation Of Medical Knowledge And Expertise.
Minimum Of 5 Years Clinical Experience: Mercy Expects The Associate Medical Director To Have At Least 5 Years Of Clinical Experience, Preferably In An Emergency Or Urgent Care Setting. This Experience Should Include Both Patient Care And Leadership Responsibilities.
