Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients in a safe and effective manner according to established protocols and standards.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, response to anesthesia, and level of consciousness during procedures.
- Respond to medical emergencies and take appropriate actions to stabilize the patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient care and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide patient education regarding pre- and post-operative care, anesthesia techniques, and potential risks and side-effects.
- Remain current on best practices and advances in anesthesiology to ensure quality patient care.
- Participate in research activities and initiatives to contribute to the field of anesthesiology.
