Welcome to Mercy's Anesthesiology team! We are looking for an experienced and passionate Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic and dedicated team. As an Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and compassionate anesthetic care to a wide range of patients. You will have the opportunity to put your skills and knowledge to use in a fast-paced hospital environment. We are seeking an individual with excellent clinical and communication skills who is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. To be successful in this role, you must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent, board certification in Anesthesiology, and a valid medical license. In addition, you must be able to work collaboratively with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare providers. Responsibilities:

  1. Administer anesthetics to patients in a safe and effective manner.
  2. Monitor patient condition during and after anesthesia.
  3. Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure the highest quality of care.
  4. Maintain up-to-date patient records and document all anesthetic procedures.
  5. Provide patient education regarding anesthetic risks and benefits.
  6. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  7. Provide support and guidance to junior anesthesiologists.
  8. Keep abreast of developments in anesthesiology and actively participate in research activities.
