- Monitor and record patient vital signs during procedures.
- Set up and troubleshoot all anesthesia equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of all anesthesia equipment.
- Stock and organize anesthesia supplies and medications.
- Collaborate with the anesthesia team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Provide support and assistance during emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedures and patient information.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Communicate effectively with the anesthesia team, other medical professionals, and patients.
- Remain up-to-date on advancements and changes in anesthesia technology and procedures.
- Participate in departmental and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting patient satisfaction.
Completion Of An Accredited Anesthesia Technician Program Or Equivalent Training.
Certification As A Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.a.t.) Or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.a.t.t.).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment And Supplies, Including Troubleshooting And Maintenance.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, With Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
