  1. Oversee all advanced practice providers within the Trauma & General Surgery department, including physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to advanced practice providers, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  3. Collaborate with department leadership to develop and maintain quality improvement initiatives for advanced practice providers.
  4. Manage the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for new advanced practice providers.
  5. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to advanced practice providers.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including other healthcare facilities and professional organizations.
  7. Analyze data and generate reports to track advanced practice provider productivity and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  9. Provide guidance and support to advanced practice providers in clinical decision-making and complex patient cases.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for advanced practice management, and incorporate them into department operations.
  11. Serve as a liaison between advanced practice providers and department leadership, effectively communicating any concerns or issues.
  12. Foster a positive and professional work environment for advanced practice providers, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  13. Ensure that advanced practice providers are adhering to all hospital policies and procedures, including ethical standards.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and protocols related to advanced practice providers, promoting efficiency and quality of care.
  15. Act as a mentor and coach to advanced practice providers, providing support and guidance for their professional development.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In A Trauma Or General Surgery Setting.

  • Proven Track Record Of Managing And Improving Clinical And Operational Outcomes.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Build Relationships With Stakeholders.
