- Maintain and troubleshoot various utility systems, including HVAC, steam, compressed air, and water systems.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities.
- Perform regular inspections and tests to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on utility systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
- Monitor and control utility consumption to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in utility systems to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to prolong their lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to all company and industry standards and regulations.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production and maintenance goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Relevant Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position, With Preference Given To Candidates Who Have Completed Vocational Or Technical Programs In Stationary Engineering Or Related Fields.
Professional Certification: Candidates Should Possess A Valid Stationary Engineer License Or Certification From A Recognized Organization, Such As The National Institute For The Uniform Licensing Of Power Engineers (Niulpe).
Experience: At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience Working As A Stationary Engineer Or In A Similar Role Is Required. Experience Operating And Maintaining Complex Utility Systems, Such As Boilers, Chillers, And Hvac Systems, Is Highly Preferred.
Technical Skills: A Strong Understanding Of Mechanical, Electrical, And Control Systems Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Have The Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Equipment, Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Schematics, And Use Hand And Power Tools Safely And Effectively.
Safety Consciousness: The Ability To Follow Safety Protocols And Adhere To All Relevant Regulations And Guidelines Is Crucial For This Position. Candidates Should Have Knowledge Of Proper Safety Procedures For Operating And Maintaining Equipment And Be Able To Identify And Mitigate Potential Hazards In The Workplace.
