Senior Scientist, Computational Chemistry

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Scientist, Computational Chemistry to join Merck & Co.’s Research & Development team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative group of scientists, to develop and apply computational chemistry methods to develop new and improved chemical compounds. You should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field and a proven track record of scientific excellence and research output. Additionally, you must have extensive experience in the development and use of computational chemistry methods to solve problems in drug discovery and have a strong understanding of the data analysis, visualization, and interpretation of complex data.You will be an integral part of the team, using your scientific expertise and knowledge to drive the development of new compounds. You should be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other scientists and colleagues, as well as have an enthusiasm for discovering new solutions in this ever-evolving field.
