- Develop and implement nonclinical safety strategies for drug development programs.
- Provide scientific expertise and leadership in the area of nonclinical drug safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute nonclinical safety studies.
- Analyze and interpret nonclinical safety data to support decision-making for drug candidates.
- Prepare and review nonclinical safety sections of regulatory submissions.

- Identify and implement innovative approaches to improve drug safety assessment.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors for nonclinical safety studies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on nonclinical safety in interactions with regulatory agencies.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of company-wide nonclinical drug safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and support company goals and objectives.
Extensive Experience In Nonclinical Drug Safety: The Senior Principal Scientist Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Nonclinical Drug Safety, Including A Deep Understanding Of Industry Standards, Guidelines, And Regulations.
Strong Knowledge Of Drug Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of The Drug Development Process, Including Preclinical And Clinical Phases, As Well As The Ability To Apply This Knowledge To Nonclinical Drug Safety Assessments.
Leadership Skills: As A Senior Level Position, The Senior Principal Scientist Should Have Proven Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Scientists, As Well As The Ability To Mentor And Develop Junior Staff.
Advanced Scientific Expertise: This Role Requires A High Level Of Scientific Expertise In Relevant Areas Such As Pharmacology, Toxicology, And Risk Assessment. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Publication Record And Be Able To Provide Scientific Leadership And Guidance To Cross-Functional Teams.
