  1. Conduct thorough research on oncology treatments and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field.
  2. Write and edit high-quality medical content for various audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and regulatory agencies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, clinical development, and regulatory affairs, to ensure accuracy and consistency of medical information.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including subject matter experts, to gather necessary information for medical writing projects.
  5. Review and analyze clinical data to support the development of clinical study reports, protocols, investigator brochures, and other regulatory documents.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, regulations, and company standards for medical writing.
  7. Contribute to the planning and execution of medical writing projects, including timelines and resource allocation.
  8. Mentor and provide guidance to junior medical writers.
  9. Attend and present at scientific conferences and meetings to stay informed on the latest research and best practices in medical writing.
  10. Continuously improve and update writing skills and knowledge of industry trends and standards.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all written materials.
  12. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Oncology: A Senior Medical Writer At Merck & Co. Should Possess A Relevant Advanced Degree In Oncology, Such As A Phd Or Md, To Demonstrate A Deep Understanding Of The Field.

  • Extensive Experience In Medical Writing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Medical Writing, Specifically In The Field Of Oncology. This Experience Should Include Writing Regulatory Documents, Scientific Publications, And Other Related Materials.
