1. Lead and drive the Translational Medicine team in advancing the company's innovative therapies from early discovery to clinical development.
2. Develop and implement translational medicine strategies to support the progression of drug candidates through various stages of development.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and validate biomarkers and develop companion diagnostics for drug candidates.
4. Design and execute experiments to characterize the mechanism of action and efficacy of drug candidates.
5. Analyze and interpret complex data sets, and communicate results and recommendations to key stakeholders.
6. Stay abreast of scientific advancements and emerging technologies in the field of translational medicine, and incorporate them into drug development strategies.
7. Lead and mentor a team of scientists to drive scientific excellence and foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
8. Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions and support interactions with regulatory agencies.
9. Partner with external academic and industry collaborators to advance scientific understanding and identify potential collaborations.
10. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
