
Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Design of Bifunctional Degraders Through Conformation Study and Machine Learning
We are looking for an ambitious Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at Merck & Co. and work on the design of bifunctional degraders through conformation study and machine learning. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with previous academic and/or industrial experience in drug design, biochemistry, and/or computational chemistry.The successful candidate will possess a PhD in a relevant field, with a strong background in biochemistry and/or computational chemistry. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent programming and scripting skills and experience in molecular modeling software, molecular mechanics, and molecular dynamics. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting is also essential.Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Postdoctoral Research Fellow will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to design and develop sophisticated algorithms to improve the accuracy and efficiency of predicting bifunctional degraders. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and innovative individual to further their research and development experience and make an impact in the field of drug design.
