Job Description

Merck & Co. is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Sales Intern to join our team. In this role, you would be responsible for supporting our sales team in all aspects of the sales process. You should have a strong work ethic and a passion for learning about the pharmaceutical industry to ensure success in this position.To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. You should also be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and have the ability to work independently. Additionally, you should have a valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel.If you think you have the necessary skills and qualifications to excel in this position, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales team in all aspects of the sales process
  • Maintain excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders and have the ability to work independently
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel
  • Manage customer and client relations
  • Prepare sales presentations, reports, and other documents
  • Participate in product demonstrations and trainings
  • Analyze sales and customer data to identify trends and make recommendations to improve sales performance
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials and campaigns
