Job Description

Merck & Co. is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Pharmaceutical Sales Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry while making an impact on patient lives. As our Pharmaceutical Sales Intern, you will gain insight into the day-to-day operations of Merck & Co., work closely with our sales team, and represent the company at various events. To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about sales and has a strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have the ability to think critically, and be able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in day-to-day operations of Merck & Co.
  2. Work closely with sales team to gain insight into the pharmaceutical industry
  3. Represent the company at various events
  4. Communicate effectively with staff and customers
  5. Utilize critical thinking skills to strategize sales initiatives
  6. Work independently and in a team setting
