  1. Conduct thorough research and analysis of the oncology market, including market trends, competitor performance, and emerging technologies.
  2. Monitor and report on competitor activities, including product launches, clinical trials, and business strategies.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including key opinion leaders, internal teams, and external partners, to gather and validate competitive intelligence.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential business opportunities, threats, and gaps in the market.
  5. Summarize and present competitive intelligence to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
  6. Utilize various data sources and analytical tools to gather and synthesize competitive intelligence.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry news, market developments, and emerging technologies in the oncology space.
  8. Develop and maintain a competitive intelligence database for easy access and reference.
  9. Identify and recommend areas for improvement in competitive intelligence processes and tools.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert on the competitive landscape in oncology, providing insights and recommendations to support business growth.
  11. Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities in the market to relevant stakeholders.
  12. Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive strategies and tactics to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  13. Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  14. Represent the company at industry conferences and events, staying informed of the latest developments and trends in the oncology market.
  15. Adhere to all company and industry compliance and ethical standards in gathering and sharing competitive intelligence.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Healthcare Or Life Sciences: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Oncology, Pharmacology, Or Biotechnology Is Required For This Position. A Ph.d. Or Other Advanced Degree Is Preferred.

  • Extensive Experience In Oncology Competitive Intelligence: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Competitive Intelligence Within The Pharmaceutical Industry, With A Focus On Oncology. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of The Competitive Landscape, Market Trends, And Key Players In The Field.

  • Strong Analytical And Strategic Thinking Skills: The Director Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Data And Market Information To Identify Key Insights And Develop Strategic Recommendations For The Company. This Requires Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Director Will Be Responsible For Communicating Competitive Intelligence Findings To Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Leadership And Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Leadership And Management Experience: The Director Will Lead A Team Of Competitive Intelligence Professionals, So Previous Experience In Managing And Developing A Team Is Necessary.
