  1. Develop and lead the implementation of global public policy strategies for Merck & Co.
  2. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including government officials, international organizations, and industry partners, to advance Merck's public policy priorities.
  3. Stay informed about global policy and regulatory environments and identify emerging trends and issues that may impact Merck.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to advocate for Merck's interests and promote positive policy outcomes.
  5. Represent Merck in meetings and negotiations with government officials and international organizations.
  6. Provide strategic guidance and support to regional public policy teams to ensure alignment with global objectives.
  7. Oversee the budget and resources allocated to global public policy and multilateral engagement efforts.
  8. Monitor and analyze policy developments and trends to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  9. Develop and deliver compelling communications to effectively communicate Merck's positions and policy priorities.
  10. Lead and mentor a team of public policy professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
