- Lead and direct the development and optimization of the immunology pipeline for Merck & Co.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute clinical pharmacology studies.
- Develop quantitative models to guide drug development and decision-making processes.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on drug development plans.
- Drive the implementation of innovative pharmacometric techniques and methodologies.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of pharmacometricians and pharmacologists to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Conduct thorough analysis and interpretation of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics data to support drug development.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines related to quantitative pharmacology and pharmacometrics.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and technologies in the field of pharmacometrics and apply them to improve drug development processes.
- Collaborate with other departments such as clinical operations, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the understanding of complex pharmacometric concepts and data.
- Actively participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions related to drug development and provide expert input and insights.
- Represent Merck & Co. at scientific conferences and contribute to the scientific community through publications and presentations.

Advanced Degree In Pharmacology Or Related Field: A Director Of Quantitative Pharmacology And Pharmacometrics Immunology At Merck & Co. Should Have A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Pharmacology Or A Related Field. A Ph.d. Is Preferred.
In-Depth Understanding Of Immunology And Drug Development: This Role Requires A Strong Understanding Of Immunology And The Drug Development Process. Candidates Should Have Experience In Designing And Implementing Pharmacokinetic And Pharmacodynamic Studies For Immunology Therapeutics.
Extensive Experience In Quantitative Pharmacology And Pharmacometrics: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Quantitative Pharmacology And Pharmacometrics, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry. This Includes Experience In Modeling And Simulation, Data Analysis, And Report Writing.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Director, This Role Will Involve Managing A Team Of Scientists And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Management Skills Are Essential, Including The Ability To Mentor And Develop Team Members.
